Leslie Coutterand

Director/Activist

A former actress, Leslie is a speaker, director and activist. 

She was a lead in 3 seasons of the number #1 show in France, “Julie Lescaut”, on TF1, and the lead in 2 seasons in the show “Déjà Vu” on France 2. She co-starred with Stanley Tucci and Henry Winkler in the American movie “Larry Gaye”. She was also the face of various international cosmetic campaigns, such as Nivea and Head & Shoulders. 

For the past two years Leslie has focused her career on directing, speaking and producing, working on productions that have a positive impact on our society and the environment.

She led the fundraising campaign to build two schools with BuildOn in Nepal and Haiti, along with actresses Madeline Zima (Californication) and Scottie Thompson (NCIS). 

Leslie is the co-director (with Marine Billet) of the documentary I LOVE THEREFORE I AM ( ILIA).

She co-wrote and launched 3 campaigns with i-boycott.org and ILIA to invite French banks to divest from fossil fuels, the successful campaigns receiving 1.3M views. BNP Paribas officially announced they will stop supporting fossil fuel energies in spring 2017. 

She also directed a mini series for BBC 3 “Miss Holland”.
