Gibson Thomas is the publisher and editor-in-chief of Edible Marin & Wine Country, the quarterly print and digital publication which she founded in 2009. Gibson grew up in the South where she learned early on the power of consciously grown and raised food, lovingly prepared, to bring people together, building bridges between individuals as well as races and cultures. A “reformed” business and securities attorney, Gibson was the leader of the Marin County convivium of Slow Food for eight years before she started Edible Marin & Wine Country, furthering her mission of bringing consumers the stories of the extraordinary food and drink producers in Marin, Napa and Sonoma counties.
